I became a surgeon because I believe hard problems deserve an honest, personal approach.
The Training: My fellowship at the Campbell Clinic covered the full surgical scope from shoulder to fingertip. Before that, I served as Chief Resident at Northwell Health.
The Perspective: A stretch of basic science research gave me a lasting habit: reading evidence as a scientist rather than a consumer.
The Practice: I built these practices so I could take the time to listen and treat every patient with the same care I would expect for myself.
Surgery is sometimes the right answer at the first visit, and knowing when to act is as important as knowing when to wait. When the evidence is solid, it gets used. When it is thin, I will tell you directly.
The arm is a single mechanical and neurological system. The shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand do not function in isolation. Training across the full limb means that when something is wrong at one level, I can evaluate what is happening at every other level before making a recommendation.
You deserve a real diagnosis, honest options, and enough time to get your questions answered. That is the standard I hold myself to at every visit.
The Training: My fellowship at the Campbell Clinic provided a deep foundation in everything from delicate microvascular work to complex shoulder reconstruction. Before that, I served as Chief Resident at Northwell Health.
The Perspective: A stretch of basic science research gave me a lasting habit that has carried through every clinical decision I have made since: reading evidence, from both medical and popular literature, as a scientist rather than a consumer. That habit allows me to evaluate new treatments with a critical eye while remaining open to innovations that can genuinely benefit patients.
The Practice: After years in a high-volume employed setting, I chose to return to an independent model. I believe that good medicine requires time — time to listen, and time to build a plan centered on your specific goals. I built this practice to take care of patients the way I would want to be taken care of myself.

Both practices are welcoming new patients. No referral needed. Upper Extremity ATX accepts most major insurance. Regen ATX is cash-pay and concierge. Not sure which fits your situation — start anywhere, and we will help you figure it out.
Both practices are currently welcoming new patients. You do not need a referral to be seen — though we are glad to receive records and imaging from your prior providers if you have them.
Upper Extremity ATX handles the surgical and specialist side: fractures, nerve decompressions, shoulder reconstruction, complex hand and wrist conditions, and everything in between. Most major insurance plans are accepted.
Regen ATX operates on a cash-pay, concierge model. It is designed for patients who want more time with a physician, access to orthobiologic treatments, or a structured plan for performance and recovery outside the constraints of insurance billing.
If you are not sure which practice fits your situation, start anywhere. We will point you in the right direction.
Have imaging or records to share?
If you are an established patient and need to request records, transfer imaging, or coordinate with a new provider, we make that process as straightforward as possible.
Medical records requests are handled promptly. If you are transitioning to a new provider or need records for a second opinion, we will get them to the right place quickly — no prolonged waits, no unnecessary friction.
For post-operative questions, urgent concerns between scheduled appointments, or anything that does not fit neatly into a future visit, call the office directly. We would rather hear from you early than have you wait.
Need records transferred, imaging sent, or a question answered between visits? We keep this simple. Call the office directly or use the patient portal. Records requests are handled promptly — no unnecessary delays.
